Vytal wins with "BOWLJOB FOR FREE" 18/1 Award
The time has finally come! After a three-year break, the curtain has once again risen on Germany's most popular and highest-paying poster competition in the outdoor advertising industry - the BEST 18/1 Award. And not only were we there, we can proudly announce that we emerged as the beaming winners of this competition. A moment that means more to us than words can express.
What exactly happens at the 18_1 Award ceremony
On September 21, 2023, the BEST 18/1 Award was presented again after a three-year break due to the pandemic. In a live voting, in which almost 800 invited guests cast their votes, our poster motif "BOWLJOB FOR FREE" was chosen as the best in the category and helps us enormously to achieve our vision of
A jury of experts selected the most outstanding ten motifs from an impressive number of over 240 entries. For the first time, creatives were also challenged to design poster motifs in both 8/1 format, commonly known as the advertising pillar, and 4/1 format, the famous City Light poster. The top ten included prestigious brands such as Gaffel, Mövenpick, Tonin, Bite Box, Aurora, Caramba and Share. These fascinating motifs can still be accessed on the website http://www.best18-1.de/.
This means for us
As our CEO, Dr. Josephine Kreische, emphasized: "Thank you so much for giving us this voice and thus this publicity, which we as a start-up could never otherwise make possible. This is so great, we can hardly breathe right now. And the 'bowl job for free' of course is not what you think it is, it's just a bowl at the end. Put in whatever you want: curry, carbonara, salty soup, haute cuisine - we really don't care, then it gets washed and it goes on. That's the future."
With a creative award of 10,000 euros in cash and an outdoor advertising campaign worth 1,000,000 euros, unimagined opportunities are opening up for us as a start-up to spread our vision and message even further. This recognition spurs us on to continue developing innovative solutions for packaging and enabling everyone to use reusables, so that reusables become the new standard.
