From Nov. 22 to Dec. 30, 2022, individuals could apply via Wiwina platform for sustainable investments, to invest between 250 and 25,000 euros in Vytal. From 2023 onwards, investors will receive 7% interest and a further 7% bonus interest per year if special sales targets are reached. The crowdfunding runs for five years until 31.12.2027. At the end of this period, the investors will receive their invested money back. We would like to tell you more about the campaign, its success and our plans in this article.
The Crowdinvest Campaign
When we started the campaign on 22.11., we didn't know what to expect and how big the interest and willingness to invest would be... But within three days we had already cracked the two million euro mark. Then, at the end of December 2022, the crowdinvesting ended with more than 2.9 million euros, thanks to our more than 1,700 Investor:in. Thank you for your support! Our successes so far
Our partner network has grown strongly in recent years, and we now work with over 6,000 restaurants, snack bars, canteens, and other stores that offer to-go food and beverages. Our largest partners include KFC, Burgerme, Backwerk and Ditsch, as well as Eurest, Klüh and SV Group. Our Vytal system in Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK, as well as our franchisesPartners in Ireland, Norway, Sweden and Mexico, have together saved more than 4.3 million disposable packages to date. We have also seen growth on the end customer side: Around 400,000 users are active in our app, which has top ratings of 4.5 stars on Google and 4.9 stars on Apple.
Last year also saw an increase in ourproduct fleet developed further; for almost all foods we have a Vytal that fits ;) 2022 new additions are the burger and pizza boxes and the 500 ml XL cups for cold drinks. And that's not the end of the story...
The plans for the crowdinvesting budget
Your investment will allow us to buy more bowls, cups and other containers. This will allow us to pursue our main goal of saving more disposable plastic, gaining more Partners and thus reducing the burden on the environment. We currently have a clear focus on Germany and neighboring European countries, but through our franchise model we are also represented in other countries and can thus easily expand into other countries.
So, in general, we want to meet the demand due to the reusable obligation and have all containers available at all times so that no partner has to wait long for a subsequent delivery. In addition, however, we also want to respond more to the wishes of Partners and the market and are more flexible due to the additional financial support.
Driven by thereusabilityIn January, we had more new registrations from customers than ever before, and in December, more new registrations from Partners than ever before. The new legislation is very much in line with our goal of making reusable packaging the standard, and with your investment you can help write our success story. We will keep you up to date!
